Restoring the original factory
image erases ALL existing data

Insert the recovery DVD and
restart the notebook
-
Hold down the C key (or
press F12 and select CD/DVD with the cursor
keys and press Enter) and the DVD will load
to the main screen:

Press 1 to begin the
recovery

You will be warned that all
data will be lost. Press 1 to continue or 2
to Cancel:

The recovery image will now
be copied
-
The process takes
approximately 20 minutes. Once complete the
user is prompted to remove the DVD and press
CTRL, ALT and DEL to restart:
