Windows ME Installs using Product Recovery CD

RECOVERY WITH CLEAN HARDDRIVE

• Set your Bios so that the first boot device is the CD-Rom

• Place your recovery disc one into the top drive.

• Restart or start up your computer.

• On a clean hard drive the Product Recovery CD will ask to Partition the drive. After a reboot, you will be prompted to format the drive. You must type "y" and then press enter to initiate format.

• Follow the onscreen prompts through to completion

RECOVER WINDOWS WITHOUT FORMAT

• Set your Bios so that the first boot device is the CD-Rom

• Place your recovery disc one into the top drive.

• Restart or start up your computer.

• A menu will appear with four selections, select Recover Harddrive without format. (Note that all files in the Windows Directory will be lost)

• Follow the onscreen prompts through to completion.

FORMAT AND RECOVERY

• Set your Bios so that the first boot device is the CD-Rom

• Place your recovery disc one into the top drive.

• Restart or start up your computer.

• A menu will appear with four selections, select Format and Recover Harddrive.

• Follow the onscreen prompts through to completion.
