Windows 98 Installs using Product Recovery CD
RECOVERY WITH CLEAN HARDDRIVE
Set your Bios so that the first boot device is the CD-Rom
Place your recovery disc one into the top drive.
Restart or start up your computer.
On a clean hard drive the Product Recovery CD will ask to Partition the drive. After a reboot, you will be prompted to format the drive. You must type "y" and then press enter to initiate format.
Follow the onscreen prompts through to completion
RECOVER WINDOWS WITHOUT FORMAT
Set your Bios so that the first boot device is the CD-Rom
Place your recovery disc one into the top drive.
Restart or start up your computer.
A menu will appear with four selections, select Recover Harddrive without format. (Note that all files in the Windows Directory will be lost)
Follow the onscreen prompts through to completion.
